Impact & Academy
Cleaner air. Local jobs. National talent.
NEEV's work sits at the intersection of climate commitments, urban mobility, Sierra Leone's Big Five economic priorities — and training the next generation of EV workers.
1,200+
Tonnes CO₂ avoided per fleet cohort per year (estimated)
Big Five
Aligned with Sierra Leone's national economic priorities
200+
Jobs targeted at planned local assembly plant
EPA-SL collaboration
NEEV works alongside the Environment Protection Agency of Sierra Leone (EPA-SL) on the country's e-mobility strategy — including the development of charging infrastructure, driver standards, and clean-air monitoring in the Western Area.
Local manufacturing
A locally assembled NeeV plant will reduce import costs, shorten spare-parts lead times, and create over 200 skilled jobs — from welders and electricians to logistics and quality control.
NeeV Academy
Train the drivers of a cleaner Salone.
A youth training arm in partnership with the University of Sierra Leone — because a national EV industry needs national EV talent.
University partnership
Curriculum co-developed with the University of Sierra Leone: EV fundamentals, battery safety, motor systems, fleet operations.
Green & Clean Rider
Recognition programme for drivers who complete NeeV's road-safety and vehicle-care training.
Wakafast campaign
Public awareness campaign encouraging faster adoption of clean urban mobility across Freetown.

Trainee spotlight
"I used to buy petrol every day. Now I swap a battery and take my earnings home."
Our first cohort of Green & Clean Riders is already operating across Freetown — trained, certified, and running electric kekehs day in and day out.
